    I. Area of application
    The invention relates to a, in particular liquid, washing additive, with the help of which - added in small amounts in the water - a washing liquid is generated from the water, as it is used in particular as a circular washing liquid in car washes.
    II.Technical background
    Such detergent additives usually contain saponified fats and / or saponified oils and glycerol, which are usually chemically produced. The saponified fats or oils are mostly the sodium or potassium salts of fatty acids.
    Accordingly, a natural breakdown of these components in the wastewater takes a long time, and the breakdown or separation in sewage treatment plants is associated with relatively great effort.
    Depending on the intended use, such washing additives also contain a number of additional components: If people or animals are to be cleaned with the washing additive or the washing liquid produced with it, these can be fragrances or caring ingredients for skin or hair when washing to maintain.
    In this context, an extract of the Speik plant is known as such an additive, in which above all the essential valerian oils present in a high proportion in this Speik plant are desired.
    A distinction must be made between the so-called real Speik plant (Valeriana celtica), which is the primary focus of the present invention, and the spurious Speik plants: In the past, the “Speik plant” also referred to other plant species that had a high proportion of essential oils, which are mainly contained in their roots, but represent biologically different plant species while the real Speik only grows in the mountainous regions of Italy and France and in the eastern foothills of the Austrian Alps.
    One to three centuries ago, the extraction of the roots of the real Speik plant was an important economic factor in this area, since these so-called Speik soils - that is, meadows and slopes on which the plant grew in large numbers - were specifically cultivated and the activity of Speik Digging the roots of the plant was a respected profession.
    From Austria, the roots - which were mostly traded in dried form - or the extract made from them were primarily sold to the Orient.
    The associated valerian odor was pleasant at low concentration, but so unpleasant at high concentration that at that time offenders were locked in the drying shed for the roots for several days, which is said to have been very unpleasant up to one Nausea, and above all led to the fact that the discharged person could then be recognized as the punished person by his smell for days or even weeks.
    III. Presentation of the invention
    a) Technical task
    It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a detergent additive which, in particular exclusively, consists of vegetable ingredients and yet has both a good cleaning effect and a pleasant odor, even after exposure to dirt in the cycle again used washing liquid that contains this washing additive.
    b) Solution of the task
    This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments emerge from the subclaims.
    With regard to the washing additive, this object is achieved in that valerian oil, in particular essential valerian oil and / or an extract from the Speik plant, which contain such oil, is present therein, which is not just one as part of a washing additive pleasant smell developed, but unexpectedly also an intensification of the washing effect of the washing-active substance.
    The detergent substance can be designed as described in claims 2-8, which is essentially known.
    The special design of the washing-active substance according to claims 9 and 10 above all results in good biodegradability of the washing liquid produced with this washing additive.
    The components according to claims 11-13 cause a very gentle washing process and additionally improve the biodegradability.
    With regard to the washing liquid, the object is achieved in that the washing additive contained therein is composed as described above and the base liquid is water, preferably softened water.
    This facilitates the degradability in conventional sewage treatment plants.
